Why wouldn't you measure your cut before you made it??

And it's gonna be a bitch sanding that cut you made to be smooth. Your gonna need a power grinder or a big metal file.

Well then how did your cut end up being bigger than the plexi?

well..an option you have now to mount your window is to go to lowes or something along those lines...get a decent length strip of aluminum...say .1/8 in thick and 2 in wide then cut it to length for your window so that an inch or so hangs over to mount to the acrylic

pm me if you want me to make ya a quick drawing if ya dont get what i mean

Well you won't be able to make it any... unthicker. (As far as i know) I suppose you'll have to buy new stuff.

You'll have to get some other opinions but i'm not sure if using bondo to put the two pieces together is the best way to do that. Again, i want a second opinion on this before you take my advice.

And yes thats your PSU (Power Supply Unit).

Next time you make a window, make the design on the case, then get a piece of plexi that's way too big (like, i got a 2ft by 2ft stock, 1/4th in) then cut to size (leave about a half inch overhang or more on each side)

i did some sanding today

and i cut the hole for my Cd drive (still need to mount it)

im trying to decide if i should leave the mother board in its old spot. or go with my original plans and drill new outlet for it. (the case lays on its side)

I tried to look up a guide I saw once. Sorry I couldn't find it but here is what it was about.

Auto suppliers sell a rubber/vinyl casket for holding in windows. It comes in 2 pieces, the big piece has an "H" kind of cross section, the second piece is a locking piece.

I was just thinking since your plexi is 1/4" shorter, this type of mount might workout just right. The guide I saw it in was using a translucent version and then light up with either EL wire or LEDS. I went through all my bookmarks and couldn't find it :( Maybe someone else knows what i'm referring to.
