hi guys, long time pc'er, first time poster. i just wanted to know what you guys thought about a good vga cooler.

i currently have an ati radeon x800 xt platinum edition agp card. the stock numbers are 520mhz core (526mhz with overdrive) and 560mhz (1120) memory. i've been able to get it up to 563mhz and 590mhz (1180) on stock cooling.

i want to get those numbers up. what cooler should i get that's better than stock. i've been recommended zalman and a few others. anyone who tried an aftermarket cooler, i'd like to hear from you, rather than someone who just recommends something without trying it.

thanks in advance.

Maybe try newegg and read through their product reviews?? Just an idea since you wanted people who have actual hands on experience with certain products.

Welcome to the forums!

EDIT:
This has great reviews, Never tried it personaly... but with that many reviews its something to take into consideration?

Also, if you look at Zalman on newegg you can see that they are much sought after for CPU and GPU cooling.

I agree with MitaPi, go for that- I have a X1900 XTX with an arctic cooling cooler (Obviously not the same one) and it works great...
