getting a "new" video card, going into fedex this afternoon

buddy of mine is a rather spastic upgrader and he just went to pcie.

goodbye, you horrible 440mx. hello wow without lag :DD

sorry, i've been needing a good video card for a while and had to do a little happy-dance :P i won't be doing the dancing banana tho. :P

I have never had wow with lag always had a 6800gt when I was playing WOW. :banana:

Thats a big step up good value card the 7600 to and alot of BFG cards are factory overclocked with a waranty which is nice.

meh. FX5200 is well above and beyond the MX440 :p
and yeah, it's a huge step up. among other things, it means i won't have to upgrade my whole system :P stupid pci-e coming in and ruining my upgradability :P

video card is here, and appears to be only lightly worn from the crushed box. stupid UPS. looks like somebody sat on the box all the way from chicago to atlanta

You're lucky. When mine arrived it was so damaged i couldn't install it.

jeez, i'd have died if that had happened to me, mine was quite well packed, although the box it came in was nowhere near big enough for the product!

wow. yeah i am a bit lucky on that :p plugged it in last night when i got back into town, powered up the box, and got the beep of death. i then realized that the damn card needed a line from the ps. plugged that in and went beautifully from there
and my fps in wow (the only game of any significance that i play) went up so much. :DD

back to looking for a damn case for my htpc.

i'd post pics of my current computer but the cable management is nonexistant. it's not a pretty sight :P
