I want to hook up my guitar to my PC, Possibley have them run off my PC speakers via my computer. I saw those things witch make the bigger plug thing smaller to match the Line-IN jack, Should I go for it?

Ah my friend is in recording, and we tried it, Im not saying it doesnt work, but it wont come out as good if you dont have a MIDI Controller. Or if you have a good sound card, just get some good software, I think the one he uses is garage band, but im not sure. But yeah I use to have that jack that converts your cord into a computer size one. But a MIDI Controller is the best way to go, they connect into a USB port.
