Runescape ideas

Im thinking of doing a Runescape case, any ideas?

What sort of limitations do you have as in the money you can spend, tools you can use, etc.? Never played the game but it sounds like a cool project.

I played runescape for like 3 or 4 years till I got bored. But if they still have wall papers or somthing, you can cut hose out on teh case or somthing. IDK but keep me posted, I want to see how this turns out.

HA! Heck yah! You should go for it. A runescape case would be pretty cool! I used to play that game WAY too much. Gotta love the d hally though! Even though the quest was a MAJOR pain just so you could use it. Eh, lvl 68 miner, what do I need with a d hally anyways? lol

Idea's, idea's.. hmm... are you familiar with engraving and etching? You could always do some work with that. Etch something out onto a window then paint the back of it... or something like that. It looked really cool where I saw it being done.

You can buy a dremel engraver for about 20 bucks or a multi pro for about 50-60.

Here are a few ideas:
you could make the ouside of the case look like one of the buildings, like stone buildings in Falador or the timberframe one in Rellaka.
you could incorporate the spell runes onto your switches (power, reset, fans,etc).

Heres another idea...

You can make custom fan grills out of a wax block. Sorry I dont have a turtorial link for you. But I'm sure a quick google will help you.

I just had another idea. What is your specialty? Fighter? Miner? Crafter?

You can build your case around that. I am a miner (well fighter, crafter, ect. too but not as often) so I would maybe make some Pick Axe Fan grills for example. Or maybe have a pick axe handle. Maybe do some painting with words that say something like "I'm crazy for coal".

About the wallpapers, I saw an update not long ago that they added a bunch of new ones on the site.
You could engrave a picture of a D-long or sheild with a crest on the front.

As I'm mostly a mage on there with some mining, I would use runes for the power and reset buttons.
