BF2 Weapon Unlocks

Hi I have heard things about how you can edit the BF2 directory so that you are able to use the unlock weapons without unlocking them. I have googles this subject but the results havvn't made much scence. My copy of BF2 is fully patched at V1.40. please help.

Thats all based on the server you join, you may be able to mod the single player weapons, but I never heard anything like that before.

I know there is a mod that you can edit in the BF2 directory that will unlock all weapons for single-player and LAN games, and some servers already have the game type setup for all weapon unlocks. Try searching for BF2 mods, I'm sure you can find somthing.

4Ok it works great. Um one question though. Alot of the kits have two different verients of the upgrade weapons such as sniper for example, sniper has the .50 cal rifle and then it has another one after it or the anti-tank kit which gives you the Dao-12 but after that you can get a machine gun. It doesnt list these weapons in the guides i've been to.

To get these extra weapons i followed what he link above said but when it came to me edditing the kit files i changed both of the ObjectTemplate.unlockLevel 1 files (the second one ends in a 2) back to zero.

I know you guys would have your favourite weapons and i would really like you input. I just want to know what weapons are the strongest so I can have the strongest kits.

Spec Ops- G36
Assualt- G3
Sniper- L96A1(range) or M95(damage)
Medic- G36E and L85A1

I love the fact you can snipe a helo or plane pilot with the M95...

Thanks i'll take them into consideration when choosing my kits. Ok I got BF 2142 this arvo so I installed it and I went to create a new account and i need the net. This a big problem cos my comp dusnt have the net and dad wont let me use his. The manual dusnt say anything about the net. I guess the guys at EA expect every1 to have access to the net just cos the game was builta round online play, I wont be using it for this.

Ok, I've finaly got a list of all the weapons
Medic: 1-L8M5A1 2- G36E
Anti-tank: 1-DAO-12 2-T90
Sniper: 1-M95 2- L96A1
Assult: 1-G3 2-F 2000
Engineer: 1-Mk3A1 2-MP7
Special Ops: 1-G36C 2-Scar-L
support: 1-PKM 2-MG36

I already know that the stage two spec ops gun kicks ass and the second support gun is the better of the two but is it better than the standard gun?

well i think its not the power of the gun but how you use it for example the pump action shotgun can be deadly weapon if you use it right

I tried making an accout for multiplayer. When I clicked "Creat Account" I got some message saying that "that uniquenick is already being used" or something to that effect.

WTF does that mean and how do I make an account?

That means pick another user name someone already uses the one you tried.
