Project: FAB 1 (Thunderbirds)

Well my mom has always liked Lady P from Thunderbird's ...you know all that independent woman crap lol and thats even her screen name on her organization website but anyways I'm pretty much skint ive only got about £50 left over from my case and i want to do a simple and quick and cheap case mod for her XMAS present

I just want a side window cut out and "LP" initials on the other side nothing big i could put a fan in at the front at the top i don't know but anyways

Its about 5 years old AMD Athlon 1800+ Socket A running at 2GHz

As i said it needs to be done within £50 not because im a tight but i just don't have the money lol + I'm only 16 and don't have a job

sorry... I just have to say this... that case looks like a vacuum cleaner right now :p

but I think It'll do nice a for a mod. Also a mod doesn't have to be very expensive. Some paint and plexi and maybe some lights and you can turn you case into something completely different...

i like the look of that case, it's very non-traditional
opens up on the opposite side, nice curved front, not to sure about the PS being on the bottom, but meh, as long as all the air gets vented out the back, no big deal.

with those curves and the handle... looks like a great starting case. honestly, i think its asking for more then just a window and paint. i think it would be great for a themed mod. youd need to find the right theme for it... but its a perfect shape to start with.

but then again... not my case... and all i can do is hassle you about it....

I can do that mod with $25. A sheet of plexi is like $10. Walmart sells pink spray paint for 96 Cents a can, and the black is also 96 cents.

Well i was off school today because i was Ill ... anyways i was bored and continued P:Fab 1 :D I Took the case apart and then seperrated all the diffrent panels,buttons,clips etc

Then i sanden down some of the rough areas and then had a break :D
Whilst sitting down i though i would cut it out but my dremels broke, so i took it round my mates house and he cut it out for me :D We sanded teh sides etc and wala, next is paint then plexi :banana:

Hahaha loving the chickenscratch on the walls!
It's funny because I just this second got back from painting a huge graffiti peice in the center of my city. My hands are completely covered in paint and stinging-nettle stings (painted on a wall in a smashed up park)

Im off for a shower to wash off the paint!

(P.S. buy a sketchbook and some nice pencils/pens and sketch outlines of letters like crazy. do it every moment that you have spare!)

They were only quick outlines with crap paint :( Ive done much better :D

Naw i haven't got round to putting the LP on the side yet ...ooo I almost forgot i went down Maplins with my mom and my mate yesterday ha ha he bought a big ass case with turbine type thing on the front and my mom said ....

My Mom - "Oooo i like that can i have this multi colored fan ...and this thing what is it"

Me- " Mom thats Heat sink ...it dosent fit yours"

I graf sometimes, but pretty rarely, i do it where everybody else does: Under one of the little tiny flat-bridges on the highway =/

I did the AMD logo once but it got graf'd over =/

Ok after some tinkering with the dremel and some extra spray and about an extra £30 on top of the last price this is the final result just need to put the clear fan on the CPU :D
