Intel

-because their processors automatically turn off when they get too hot.
-because they made the Core 2 Duo and, soon, Core 2 Quadro
-because I like their song, you know; the "Intel Inside" one ;)

That video is fake. It's been around forever.

I personally like both Intels and AMDs. I have AMDs in my desktops and Intels in my video editing machines and servers etc.

I love that video, but its plain stupid to do that

Looking through the video, the CPU is a Duron Spitfire...

Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_Duron_microprocessors) states that Duron Spitfires clocks are 900mhz and down. they overclocked that CPU to 3.8ghz.... Also take note of the CPU, it has a very small heat dissapation area on the chip itself, which means more heat piles up, then BOOM...

I'd say, if your going to overclock a CPU to over 3 times its stock speed, with stock heatsync w/o fan, you'd expect your computer to die with little or no warning... no matter who made it...

Also as far as i'm concerned, reputation is to be EARNT by providing useful information to users that ask for it, not just posting stupid information... If you want rep, help users by giving helpful, and accurate replys to their posts, or do some decent mods, dont post videos and ask for it :)

That's a rather old processor (notice the AGP slot? At least a year old) in a very very high oc/ov situation. I don't believe that those circumstances would make Intel better nowadays.

As far as Intel vs. AMD goes, however, it's really all what you are interested in.
