Well my computer just started being dumb and for some reason I cannot set my own background image for my desktop anymore. I can only choose from the crap built in ones. Whenever I press "browse", I get can get the image I want, but then when I press ok, nothing happens! It happened right after I deleted an image I had in the background by mistake, which caused the background to change to default blue... but I dunno why that would screw up everything! Does anyone know how to fix this? Don't say reformat, cause I just reformatted that crap like 2 weeks ago. Thanks!

When you say you click "Ok", is that the ok that apears once you select your image, or the one after you have it all picked out. Because if it is the latter, you need to press "Apply" first.

Otherwise, I have no idea. Deleting an image shouldn't do that.

if nothing works, use the system restore button

start>>all programs>>accessories>>system tools>>SYSTEM RESTORE

Have you tried opening the image in an explorer window and right-clicking-->set as background?

Weird... I just kept clicking "set as desktop background" over and over again, and then after a while my harddrive started to freak reading and stuff, and then I was able to change the wall paper again. Thanks too everyone that helped :)
