Honestly I thin that the whole "l33t" thing is kind of overplayed now, but good find nonetheless.

I use a "Keyboard not found, press any key to continue" bootscreen >>

I dont trust these because if these aren't installed properly they can compltelty screw up windows and you have reinstall it.

Umm.... I think Asus has the same thing. It is called MyLogo 3.

Info taken from their website:

The asus MyLogo only changes the image for the post screen, the windows boot logo comes after that.

leetspeak is rather old, but still, that's kinda neat.
As for it causing issues, not really, not if you have software to access windows with without having to load windows.

Are you talking about a boot disk?

A boot disk or cd, yes. Some piece of software that can access windows without loading windows and can modify or replace files.
Even if you do the load screen wrong, there are ways to fix it. You just can't do most of them from inside Windows.

I just got a sweet HL2 boot screen. No problems here, I just downloaded BootSkin and the HL2 BootSkin file and it changed with no problems at all.
