I couldn't get the pictures to upload so I'm putting a link to my CS: S clan's website. Feel free to drop in for frags and whatnot.

I was going to post some pics when I got a little further along, but what the heck I'll do it now.

Brief overview, no real theme just an industrial look, focusing on being able to see most things and diamond tread aluminum. I wanted to put windows in the PSU, CD-ROMS, hard drives, everything, but between time and scared I would mess them up I just stuck with normal windows.

I had a millwright at work make me an aluminum frame that's bent from one piece of aluminum. So free work and free aluminum means the frame has scratches and some gouges that I don't know how to get rid of. Any ideas on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

My power supply is outside the case because it doesn't fit into my old PSU's cut out. So I have to make another one out of Lexian, which I was kinda thinking about doing anyway. I have to make a fan hole in the back regardless so it's not too big a deal.

You will also notice my cardboard switch panel, that's obviously just a pratice so I can see what everything looks like. I'm also going to cut out the Counter-Strike logo for air to be pulled into the case, first going under my Raptor. Also planning on stealthing the drives and cutting CS logos for my other fan covers, PSU included. The shroud is daimond plate aluminum and drops down over the top of the case.

Stop me if I am wrong but is that an Ultra X-connect modular power supply hooked up to the system that you are planing to use. If so, I have read that the power coming from that psu is unregulated. If its the chrome look your looking for there has to be others with a chrome look or stick with what you have.

Lol, i love the cardboard front plate... :D

It could get pretty nice... Some mood lighting would be nice, perhaps a white cathode? or a few red flashing LED's? Thats just what i would stick in for the Industrial theme...

Plus you might want to tone down all that silver and chrome with some black grate (also keeping with the industrial style)... I think it would give it a nice touch, make it look less like a messy clutter of metal and more like a crafted industrial machine!

I after I bought the Ultra-X I read a few reviews about it not being so great.

Xato, I've gotten a few people who love my cardboard switch panel. I'm planning on red lighting, probably cold cathodes with either white or red LED's for hard drive light and ROM lights. I also have extended metal that is going in all the windows.

I've been thinking that if I can't get my frame to polish up and be mostly scratch free I might go crazy and build a new frame. I have 3 weeks off starting next week and another 3 weeks off in July. So hopefully I'll get to actually do something on this project. My case has been in it's present condition for a year now. Well beyond time to finish this sucker. I already have 3 more case's in my head I want to build, but I'm not starting another project until I finish this one.

i like the industial metal look , i agree with Xato, some black mesh would look good to break it up, but so far its lookin great :)

Yeh, i'm guessing from the case he'd own a multi-combo semi trailer... maybe even two!

Not a trucker, just a redneck who really likes diamond plate.
