Bind = Hibernate

Hello guys i have an simple question is there a way to bind a key so when you press it the computer will hibernate or turn off ? Beacuse when sometimes im on pc and my parents are coming in i just want to press fast key and the computer will turn off, or hibternate. Thanks

I think this program here should work

So setup a kew combination and bind it to

%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 01

You can also make a shortcut on your desktop and bind it to that as well

I dont know about hibernate though.

hit alt+f4 really fast and alot, it'll close all the windows and pretty damn quick too

I cant remember the name off hand but i seen this little button you stash on the floor and when your boss/parents come buy, you step on the switch and *poof* everything is hidden.

You could just turn the monitor off and say you left the computer running because you were downloading somthing through the night.

Or... you could use a good ol porno mag in the bathroom insted of getting your keyboard all sticky. :)

I've done it, and it's pretty awesome. I do it in WoW mostly and tend to mask it.

somebody will ask for a key combination for a really obscure feature and i'll be like "alt and w and g and f4 and k" and they fall for it, only to log in a few minute s later using words i can't use here =D
