Modding Process (Painting, Cutting, Buffing, New handmade motherboard trays for windows parts, lights, cathodes, wiring, soldering power switches etc...)
Removing paint, soaked overnight with iso alcohol.

Removed paint from apple logo, repainted from the inside with krylon black

Apple logo didnt glow before, cut holes behind the logo to let lights filter through

Sides cut with dremel, paint removed and surface blurred to let lights diffuse nicely

Two white cathodes installed, blue led feet

Used some fibre optics cable to make the sides of the dvd drive glow, glued onto it with super glue.

I'd hope to make the side clear on the G3 that I have, but unfortunately the panel was semi-opaque plastic rather than painted like the G4. I like the black and white theme.

yeah mate. I was looking at the G3 case before as well and it is a little harder to mod.
