Personally i think the guys a F**king goof. I seen him do an interview on the Daily Show and he's stupid far beyond anyone i've ever seen. I might go see the movie just to say that i've seen it.

I don't think he's a stupid as you think, sometimes "dim-wittedness" is no accident. I'd say he's done quite well in a business that is notorius for using up talented folks and being harder than hell to get a break in. Although once in a while it is just dumb luck (Pauly Shore...)

I honestly didn't know who/what Borat was until like a week ago. I was enticed by a video clip whos caption said he nearly caused a "riot" at a sneak preview of his movie in San Francisco. i clicked to watch, and it was basically him running around high-fiving people after making really dumb jokes about myspace and random american stereotypes. isnt he a british comic or something whos trying to pretend hes some oblivious middle eastern guy? i honestly dont know anything about him.

as for being a dimwit, idiot, or anything to that effect, im pretty thats not it at all. this guy is no genius, i think we can all see that, but hes no dummy. really, idiot or not, that argument will only fall upon deaf ears once he hits big at the box office. after that point, it doesnt matter. i mean, isnt the whole point of life to make as much money as you can doing as little work as possible? :p

Actually, he's a rather smart comedian. This is the guy that plays the french man from Talledega nights and is Ali G. I just don't find him that funny. I can see his appeal and understand it, just not my bag. Like Seinfeld or Friends.

oh wow, you just somehow managed to revive a small piece of hope inside me that i used to have for humanity. im really(i mean REALLY) out of touch when it comes to things like that. mainly cuz i dont care. i didnt know Ali G. was an actor, let alone the same guy. -_- that kind of thing isnt something i invest much time into, for 3 reasons.

#1. I can't mod it.
#2. No one else is modding it.
#3. It isn't modding anything itself.

even if i could mod Borat*(he needs it :P), i have a feeling if i walked up to him, dremel in hand, he wouldnt be to thrilled about what i had in mind.

Actually, Ali G isn't the actor, that's Sacha Baron Cohen.

Still, Da Ali G Show and Borat are probably some of the funniest things I've ever seen, even if they are offensive to some people.

Some of it is funny but I prefer well established english humor Monty Python, The Goodies, StepToe and Son, Only Fools and Horses, Porridige, The two ronnies and so on. If you haven't heard of some of these go and look them up. :up:
