Amazon.com will be selling Xbox 360 Core Systems for $100 to the first 1,000 people. This is part of a promotion called "Amazon Customers Vote". Check out the front page (on the right) (http://www.amazon.com/).
Basically, there are 4 items and the one with the most votes will go on sale. So far the Xbox 360 is in a big lead. Last time I checked, it was in the high 80 percentile. The winning item then goes on sale on Thanksgiving Day. But there is a different way to buy this item then you would normally buy off Amazon. Note: This is the Core System. It doesn't come with the 20 GB hard drive. But even if you buy the hard drive, the total cost comes to $200. This is $200 cheaper than the bundle with the hard drive.
