What would be a nice, clean way to fill in holes in a side panel where a fan used to be? I replaced a side intake fan with a Nidek blower to use as an exhaust fan. Now I have this ugly hole in the side panel displaying the back of the blower. I've considered using autobody filler or even just putting the old fan grill on just for looks.

You could use the old ghetto car technique:
Place a piece of scrap metal behind the hole.
Fill with autobody filler and let cure.
Sand down smooth.
(Optional) Remove the piece of scrap from the back.
It depends on what kind of look you're going for.
