I thought this display would look fantastic on my arctic/industrial mod, but the site really doesn't give very much information.

Or I'm blind or something. But I'm pretty sure I'm not.

Anyways, does this come with some pretty intuitive software, or do I need a PHD in C++ to get it to display my current running application, music track, or CPU usage? Have any of you guys worked with this display in particular? Are they hard to mount, get the software going, wire, etc.?

What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Or maybe I am blind, in which case show me where it says what this thing can do.

best is to read the manual (http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/) or read teh forums (http://www.lcdforums.com/forums) but I'm pretty sure you have to build your own sftware for it

Did you click on the tabs below the picture on the right side "software" and "manuals"? There are several apps for uploading fonts and testing the displays, I didn't read the manuals but you should if you haven't. That may give you a better idea if you think you can make it work or not. Someone else used a similar screen very recently though and as I recall said it was quite easy, I'll try to find it.

Thanks a lot, I'd be screwed if I had to program the software myself; the thing would probably flop.

If you can find that post about the other person using that screen, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

The program that I use with my lcd is LCD Smartie (http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/) It works really well and has lots of features.

Ya, it was him, simon275 that is. Check out his counter strike mod to see it put together.
