Yep, you guys missed it!

...but its okay, so did I. Thats a bummer and a half! I finally get enough money for a great deal and then you find out the deal went bye bye.

I guess I better start saving so when they have a awesome deal on THIS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148041) I can afford it!

I thought SCSI drives turned at 15,000 RPM.

I'm thinking of adding a second one of these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822116011) to my Doom3 mod ...very nice seek time of 3.3ms :D

Wow Crimson, that's one fast drive.

I think my seek time is about 5ms on my large drive, and about 4 on the 80gig that i have partition to make the computer boot faster.

I thought SCSI drives turned at 15,000 RPM.

The speed that it operates at depends completely on the drive -- 15k-RPM is the high end for SCSI RPM's. They can run at 10k as well.

That'd be like saying that IDE is only 7200rpm, which it's not, It can go up to 10k and there are also 5400rpm's and i think 3200rpm's, however 5400 and below are generally laptop HD's.

It's hard to see but thats how many Watts it uses. It doesn't say the seek time so I'm assuming its the latency which is 4.16.

It says Seek Avg. I assumed thats what you wanted? Maybe it is something else and I am just a tard... lol
