Has anyone else seen this? Microsoft released a screen saver program that mocks the dreaded blue screen of death. It even has a mock start up of windows. Yes. Microsoft - on their website, a program mocking their own suck ass products.

You could pull some mean pranks with that:
Get on your friends (or anyone you know) computer, find a shortcut link (they commonly use) to one of their programs and change the shortcut so it runs this instead.
Oh-my-god, one of my friends would get sooooo pissed...

Oh, and you can't get out of the screensaver unless you hit the esc key, so mouse movement doesn't break it! BRILLIANT!

Thanks for that Ty, my dads completely flipped when I showed it to him yesterday! Is it just me or does it not come off when you move the mouse - you have to press a key on the keyboard to stop the screensaver?

You're right Tybrenis, windows is awful. Evidently it sucks when compared to OS's like... Linux? ...Unix? ...dare I say ..Mac's OS? Oh wait you can't get software to run properly on those OS's.:lick:

Windows jokes are fun, but in all seriousness the Windows OS is teh pwn when compared to other "suck ass" operating systems.

EDIT:
I love how the screen saver has an option to "fake disk activity"... that's great.

Most people use windows because it easier to get into than Linux, and not because MS owns the monopoly (well this too, but the first reason is the main one).
Also, it has been proven that in the last year, *nix proved to contain more bugs than MS, so you cant blaim MS only for beeing full of holes.

Linux isn't exactly hard. Ive been a Windows user since I was about 4, and Im nearly 17 now. I learnt a lot of stuff in Linux within a couple of days. If you are a n00b, go with Ubuntu. Its so user friendly, and if there isn't a tutorial on what you are trying to do, it can't be done.

if ya knew what ya were doing omega u would know u can get just about any MS OS game onto a unix system and run it at better frame rates and with less lag
i persoanly used to play san andreas on my BSD gamin comp

and yes their r quite a few console commands but they r a **** load more powerful hence why its not a click and go monkey OS like winbl0wz
the only use for windows in my opinion is the CDs as my coffee cup coasters
and Kpong???? its actualy entertaining :D
either way
linux/unix smacks windows around with a big cold rotton tuna
so once again i hear the school bells ringin
class is out hope u learned something
