...I had to share;

My wife was just notified that she has been nominated in the California District V as educator of the year! She works REALLY hard and deserves this every bit! I am soooo proud of her!

How she manages to do all her teaching stuff, take more classes and run a part time business is way beyond me!

Yes, Most of the time I feel she is a GREAT woman and I am just tagging along...

...but for the most part we stand together beside one another.

BTW: She teaches Special Education Math (and is the department chair at her high school), at a school that is in the east side of San Jose, which is gang central. All from an Irish/Italian Long Islander!

Teachers are a very important part of our society. Quite often and unfortunately, overlooked.
I once saw a bumper sticker that read:::
If you can read this, thank a teacher!
