As it seems many people use Google SketchUp for... just about anything and everything. I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for asking questions that are "how-to" related. I know a little bit about Google Sketchup, but not enough to be able to answer every question. That said, if any of the more "experienced" SketchUp users could participate with this thread I would be thankful.

Actually, I have a "how-to" question.

How do you create Pipes?

My uncle taught me a bit about working with copper piping while we were working on some plumbing in my fathers cabin and I was thinking about designing a custom homemade radiator using copper pipes, acrylic and all that good stuff in between like flux. So of course, I would like to plan and draw it out using Google Sketchup before hand.

Thanks for the help!

Great idea, Start a thread teaching people how to rough draft their modding dreams. Give me a day or two to download it and explore it, i'll have questions.

Anyone else have any questions on how to do something?

If you ask I'll play around in SketchUp and IF I can do it I'll make a tutorial of how I did it for ya.
