Im completely new too case modding and the case i would like to mod is a Cooler master centurion 5 with see thru side panel , i dont want too do anything complex just probably a cathode light that will light up the interior of the computer and will glow thru the see thru window can anyone instruct me on how too do this?
Link too the case http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=85282
So all you want is a cathode kit to light the side of the case up? I'm somewhat confused by your phrasing.
Have you ever hooked a fan up before? It's much the same.

If thats really all you want to do its very simple. In fact the instructions that come with the tube will tell you what to do. But see that is were it starts. One cathode tube ends up being a complete mod and your bank account is looking very sorry. But that's where places like this come to help. There are tonnes of like minded maniacs here that will give you ideas, worklogs you can druel over and pick up stuff from, galleries of mods as crazy as you could think of. Stick around, talk, share ideas, pick stuff up and always come back and let everyone know what you've done. And never be afraid of asking anyone for help!:up: So crack on kiddo, Get moddin!

When you start putting together your computer and look at the instructions that come with the cold-cathode, you'll probably laugh and go "wow, I'm an idiot". It's really a simple thing, you just plug and go. Real simple stuff. You'll be able to do it no problems.

Unless you want to complicate it;
I should add a front switch that power on the CCFL It will look great with some leds there and there. What if I make them blink with a little circuit? Man, that's so nice, I must mod the outside of the box... What if I build a sound level indicator?
:rolleyes: Mmmm.. That's how modding become an obsession
