As sirkillalot said Vadim and Scan are both great countries but personally I preffer Vadim's PC's and use scan just for buying components. But both great companies.

There's this really customizable computer company called "The Best Case Scenario". It's run by a cool guy named Paul Capello, and he'll work with you to customize everything, internal and external. You can find a link to his site at www.thebestcasescenario.com. They have some snazzy forums, too.

well "quality" is a subjective term. all the boutique shops use hardware that anyone can get online..are they quality? there lies the question. the dif is the wire managment, burn in process to test the hardware etc. Attention to packing, documentation and shipping is another. Perhaps a 6pack of Monster Energy Drink and some little wrapped chocolates stashed in a pull-out drive bay? there is very little dif between most boutique companies. perhaps a paint finish here and there--nothing much else.
what is your idea of quality other than what I've mentioned?

When I say quality I mean they do things that are innovative (and usually expensive) and not easily available to the average person.

the only comapny doing anything innovative i would say is Alienware--with their custom cases and watercooling integration.

You seen some of the new Vadim PC's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z0quNCysBo)? They're pretty sweet stuff. I tend towards thinking Alienware cases follow the same basic designs, and it makes them seem a little 'mass produced', even though they're not.

those Vadim PC's look like the insides of a Honda civic after a person has spent too much cash at the 12v "Bling" section of their local PepBoys auto parts store. Nothing new there.

lol. Yeah I don't really see anything special their, it acutally looks like their WC setup is disrupting their airflow...thats a good design.

Oh no, I don't wanna buy a computer. I'll always build my own. I was just wondering who was the best...
