Yea be jealous. I just got a 5.4" intec ps2 lcd tv for 40 dollars. If you want one go here http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4183744 I have a 1st gen ps2 and this one is for the slim ps2. I was wondering if there was a way for me to make this work with my fat ps2 or i could use this as a secondary computer monitor. I also would like to know how i would go about converting this screen. Pin outs would be very usefull. Thanks

If the screen has s-video or composite plug in the back, you can just use that to connect it to your video card. Then all you have to do is set it up in windows. Unfortunatley, I don't know how you could get that to work with a 1st gen ps2.

the unit has a ps2 cable input. Its that weird like 9 pin deal (i think). Its no easy component input like it should be. i can handle connecting my video card to component video output, but getting component input to the lcd is the problem.

If you are the kind of hard worker, you could find a way to jack a PS2 audio/video cable to it (one that has S-VIdeo) and actually plug the S-Video in your video card.

The A/V cable you're talking about is probably RCA, which is the Yellow, Red, and White connector.

What somebody could do is figure out the wiring change from PS2out to RCA, then from RCA to S-Video. I bet it can be done with a few adapter cables, some tape, and an hour or two.

I currenly have a PS2 AV cable that has SVideo in it, so I know it's possible. You can also do it with component video (Red/Blue/Green wires) but it would be useless for the computer ^^;

yea i plan on using it for a video ipod (i got one of those red, yellow, white rca things that hook to the ipod) so i want to be able to put that video into the lcd. If i have rca feed to the lcd i can hook it up to my computer (i have all the converting plugs from svideo to rca) I just need a pin out or something. thanks
