Two quickies

I did these yesterday. On the far right is my birthday present from my gf. She wanted to get me my dream car. I opened the box and the model was already built (snap-tite). The middle is another prowler model I built last night and finished today. I put a Hemi 426 from a Hemi Cuda model in it. It was a tight squeeze and looks pretty crappy because I didn't take the time to do it right. The last thing are those earrings. They were given to my gf for her birthday, but they are (fake) diamond studs and she doesn't have pierced. She was going to throw them out, but I took them and put magnets from my last computer case on them. They now look like studs, but actually are magnet earrings.

Oops. I forgot to add that I just did these to kill time. I have a heat sink coming in for my computer and then I'm going to finish the NES PC, and start the Pirates of the Caribbean mod.

You still could do one. There are so many ways that you could go about it. I thought of actually doing three, one for each chapter in the movies. But I'm going to do my best to put all three movies onto one case.

Since this is similar to the above stuff I figured I would just add it here.

Flashback to last semester, I was working from 11PM to 5AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. One week I wanted to participate in a campus wide pinewood derby event. The race was Thursday, and the only tools I had were my Dremel and a coping saw. That said, between Monday and Thursday night I only got 6 hours of sleep total. I was exhausted, but happy and I went to all my classes and work, so not bad at all. In the end I had the slowest car, but won best automotive design, which is all I really wanted anyway.

wait... you go to BYU-I? right on... I am in IF pretty much. Live in shelley, work in Idaho Falls. thats not that far.

Really? I'm not going to BYU-I anymore. I'm transferring to U of I this fall, but I need to go Rexburg to get stuff out of storage when we move again. We should do lunch.

yeah that sounds good. When you gonna be in town next? and U of I is an awesome school, much better than ISU. I hate ISU. lol

It will be mid July. My wife finishes her student teaching in six weeks and then we'll be on our way before the semester begins.
