It would be awesome if someone could build and over the top sleeper mod.
Like a tan case then hydrolics pushed the sides out showing leds and chrome and awesome fans and such with like
Quad core processor and an nvidia8800 in it

Hydraulic actuators would be impractical (Hydraulics aren't needed in lighter use, Pneumatics are okay but still overkill, servos are optimal), but aside from that, I'd love to.

And I think I have just the case to do it on (but it'll be no quad-core Dual-8800 beast)

no, i think the side should be some curvy bits of sheet metal that fit together when closed, but then open up like fish gills to reveal polished metal on the underside.

Hey, it could be like those sweet billboards that switch pictures by having thin strip like sections that turn clockwise...

Then you could have three different painted images that are constantly changing every few minutes.

have like 20 or so steel rods aligned verticaly and paralell to eachother
then affix a bunch of 3d triangles with a pixel or peice of a picture on each side. then link them together with cogs or gears on the ends, and powered by a motor. but align them so they form the same picture, not like pieces of a 3 pictures jumbled up. you could have a Nvidia logo or something on it:glasses:

It would be rad if you could have one of those displays like on old alarm clocks, where the numbers flicker round (like the counter in Lost), but have it display the now playing song :P
