Well I spent a good few minutes trying to figure out which forum it seems this fits in I settled on this one :P

I would like for everone to post/link pictures of what they consider to have been awesome cable/wire management builds that looks clean crisp and organized. I would like to be able to use this thread for ideas On my own 1st attempt coming up and others may be able to do the same over time. Wire cable management Is something I wish to put a lot of time and effot into on my first build using all products I can think of to make my "gutz" look great and pleasing to the eye.

I will be ordering my case this week and plan on spending around 4 months on my 1st build ... Ill post a log on my progress

I will be doing a total deconstruction on a Silvertone TJ09 when it comes in for a custom paint job - being discused in case studies forum...

I would like all the ideas and pictures and linkies to awesome cable/wire management i can find

For some examples of how cable/wire management is done at the factory, check out this thread;

I have posted some pictures of workstations and servers that show some good factory wiring done by big companies. This is stock wiring with no cable sleeving or fancy mods.

Also check out this log;

for some details on hiding wiring in a case.

With a clear case, it can be harder to hide them. Though if I move the disc drives up, I'll have some space to hide things.

One suggestion with your cables in the clear case; You don't always have to hide the cables. Try and run as many as you can together and branch them off where needed. Just grouping the cables will make it look a lot cleaner and professional. Look at the wire harness under the hood of a car and you will see what I mean. You can see the main wire harness, but it is neat and bundled. Done right, it can actually add to the look of the computer.
