Cheap Raid Array

If i were to buy 2 of something like this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144173) and put them in raid using my pci sata card as the controller, would it be worth it?

If 40 gb is all you need, then yes. Data backup and faster seek times are nice.

thats actually the drive iw as looking at after i posted this, lol. the 40 gig was just a quick example really. im thinking that when i go vista ill want something like that, but not overly expensive
