Well, I didn't have my RAM dual channelled for a while. My score on 3DMark06 before dual chanelling it was 6471. After dual channelling it, my score went up to 7948. Think the RAM is the cause of the jump in points?

Okay, after testing again, I'd say the dual channel is what made the difference, and that it wasn't just a one time thing. My score this time was 7968.

you should run some synthetic memory benchmarks with and without dual channels enabled and see the dramatic difference in memory bandwidth.

When i went from single to dual channel, i noticed a huge diffrence. I also upgraded at that time so i know that helped it a lot. I started with 1gb in single channel and upgraded to 2gb dual channel. I didnt notice any diffrence with small apps, the diffrence came with the heavy hitting programs like games and photoshop.
