Any one used Cedega with linux on say ubuntu? Any good? What are the frame rates of games like compared to say the game running on XP. I was wondering if it was worth the cost. I know you are paying for updates.

I think theres a free version of Cedega you can compile yourself. Its basically Wine with a few enhancements.

Yeah I read about that. I might have a try compiling it myslef but apprently it is really hard to do and I shouldn't be supprised if it doesn't work.

You could also try Wine.

Wine lets you run normal programs but u need directx to run games.

As far as I know, Wine can run games, maybe not perfectly, but it can.
