I think it looks like an overly complicated procedure for somthing you can buy for $40 at best buy. Just my opinion.

Yeah. Just as we can buy an AlienWare instead of building our own.

Exactly. I figure the only thing I would have to buy/make is the board. Breadboard from radio shack maybe? Everything else I can scrounge old parts. Would like to figure out a better solution for storage though.. I do have an old laptop drive lying around.
