Whilst link hopping, i came across an art site that really moved me. As hard as that is to believe. I found the link through inhabitat (http://www.inhabitat.com) showcasing the moving art gallery of Ashes And Snow (http://www.ashesandsnow.org) by Gregory Colbert in the Nomadic Museum. At first I thought it would be your typical art website. That was sure to change once i opened the metaphoric door. The site offers two options to view the gallery, one for high speed computers and another for slow speed computers. I highly recomend the high speed exorbant flash version of the gallery which fully immerses you in the photography. All the while a clam, soothing, tibetian like music plays in the background. You move your mouse to dicover the many photographs and film snips from the hour long orginal narated by the gentle voice of Laurence Fishburne. The truly glorious photography of elephants, cranes, whales, and creatures many of us would shy away from. In thier natural habitats, co-existing with man, open your mind and give you a truly euphoric sence of self.

This has now become my all time greatest art collection and is definitly worth the look or even two.

You pussy. What? No, i got something in my eye.

(jk). Actually, that's a very nice website with some good material. I especially like the side one where the elephant almost looks like a person, the anti-symmetry between the child crouching like a storyteller, reading to an elephant that sits, looking almost child-like...it's quite an attractive image, and one that caught my eye instantly. Very impressive stuff, i do like it. Thanks for sharing!

I have found a lot of the interesting things on/through Inhabitat. I might start visiting more regularly.
