I have a HUGE CRT monitor. 21" w/ a 20" viewable area.
I am getting a Thermaltake Armor for Christmas.
I would like to find some way to permanantly mount the monitor atop the case so I can just wheel the whole setup around to my buddie's houses for LAN parties and whatnot...
I have tried practicing with an old full tower case I have but it tips over anytime I look at it crosseyed.
Any suggestions?

Minty, I have the sgi version of that monitor at home. Takes 2 people to slide the thing across my desk!
Ironcat, Only way I see this working is to add some weight to the bottom of your case or widen the wheel base.

You can also try and add HUGE cart wheel+tire combos.
I've seen them... they're like casters... but big version.
It's an actual small wheel, with an actual tire.
There's solid tires.
Then there's these big tires that you can even inflate.
If your thing is to move the monitor, not necessarily keep it on top of the case at all times, maybe you can make an "attachable monitor cart thing stuck to the bottom of the case".
I can get a link for the big tires if you want...
But I think your 'center of gravity' is too high.
Maybe lowering it... and some anti-sway bars... :)

I don't recommend screwing your 21" monitor on your computer case. I believe the Armor is already quite heavy to move, if you add like 80lbs on top of that and start moving it, it's going to be dangerous. I know it myself, I have a ViewSonic 19" CRT, and that bitch took me 5 minutes to take it down to the cave and store it (I recently bought a 19" LG Widescreen LCD), and I nearly felt 2 times with it.
It's too heavy to put on the top of a case permanently, mostly if you want to bring your computer somewhere else.

befor you even think of puting wheels on the case and moving it around,
you must reinforce the structure, otherwise it may sag or even colaps under the weight
and you DONT want that CRT falling to the ground, if you know what i mean!
thats my 0.02$
