Anyone ever have a problem wet sanding Krylon? Here's the deal......
I hit the case with one coat of primer, sanded, then hit it with a second and sanded again. Sprayed four color coats (Black Gloss), let it cure for 24 hours then wet sanded the color coat with 1500 grit sandpaper. Sprayed four more color coats with the intention of wet sanding with 2000 grit, polishing, clear coating and hand glazing. So here's the problem.
When I hit the second round of color coat with the 2000 grit sandpaper, the finish looked pretty scuffed up. I don't think polishing alone is going to smooth it out, but I could be wrong. I didn't get a chance to polish it up tonight. Anyone else ever have the same problem? Anyone see anything wrong with my process? If so, let a brother know. This is my first attempt at working the rattle can. Thanks for any insights...............
