Mixed frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, something like that), raspberry shertbet, and some pomegranate juice. Now normally I'd add a banana too, but I'm all out. And in the spring and summer, I use fresh fruit. It wasn't blending good, so I had to add more liquid, so it has a strong pomegranate taste to it.

Ok dude...

It is not fair to post such a picture up there...
Now I think I'm going to get the nearest thing to that... Subway for a 'Fruizzle'.

Looks yummy. Enjoy!!!

I use the frozen berry mix with plain yogurt instead of sherbert and use soymilk as my liquid for thinning. Good stuff. Creamy, full of nutrients, good for the digestive tract, and not full of milk fat.

I hate yogurt, and I am never mixing anything creamy with my fruit.

I really hate to say it, but this is one of those things I don't do myself. Theres a Jamba Juice like a 10 minute walk from my place, and I don't think my Dremel has a blend attachment.

I hate getting those smoothies from like "(funky name goes here) juice". They always ask if you want wheat grass and random ****. And smoothies taste better if you make it yourself plus the fruit will be fresher to.

I partially agree with that. I won't turn down a Jamba Juice ANY day, But I would still rather make it myself.

In fact, I just made a huckle berry smoothie! :mouth turns into niagra falls:

Smoothies are great... once you add enough vodka.

I don't think my Dremel has a blend attachmentMOD IT! Thats what we're here for. I bet if you used one of those roto-zip drywall blades you could get some serious mixing action. try a really big forstner bit or a wood auger :)

Nothing wrong with a little liquid fiber in the diet.
Then again, I seem to be the only one that likes yogurt, so I don't think your colon is what you're thinking of when you drink a smoothie...

I like go-gurt. It's fun to hit people with. ^^

I really only like the "carb freedom" kind. I could care less about the carb freedom part, i just like the way it tastes! oooh... yogurt and blueberries IS SO GOOD! lol

okay, I have a question. How is it that I can eat and eat and eat AND EAT but not gain any weight? I mean, I'm not skinny skinny, but I am certainly not fat either. lol I never go anywhere! I couldn't be more of an inactive person? Usually, when a person eats as much as I do and sits on his ass all day, that person gains weight right? So whats up with that? Is it something I should be worried about?

Not particularly. It's due to the fact that you're still a teenager. This will start to drop (normally) anywhere from 19 to 25 because your body doesn't require the energy to keep puberty growth going. Growing bones, marrow, skin, teeth, hair, muscles, adjusting hormone levels, all the fun stuff that takes a lot of energy to do. Most of the metabolic processes are regulated by your thyroid and unless there is some problem, you're normal and healthy. Teenage boys can burn almost twice as many calories in a day as a full grown adult doing the same amount of activity. It's the nature of being a teen.

You could also be an ectomorph, where it's easier for your body to discard extra fat than retain it. It's also harder for your body to build muscle, but when it is built it is almost always lean and not very large. Classically, these are skinny people.

There's ectomorph, endomorph and mesomorph. These are called Somatotypes. It is an outdated classification, but the evidence backing it has been shown to be at least moderately solid and objective. I also haven't found another classification system that works in a similar manner.

If your parents and grandparents are skinny, lean people, then you probably will be as well. If they have a gut or are overweight, I suggest you start working out. Besides, exercise is really required for the body to be able to regulate its processes and it makes you healthier. Why not do it?

It's not difficult to take an hour walk every day or do yoga or martial arts or a sport or lift weights or go swimming or ride a bike or do an old fashioned calisthenics workout. Your options are easy, limitless and can be enjoyable.

People forget about being healthy. Take these pills to lose weight without exercise, drink this nasty **** for a slimmer future, strap this to your ass while you sit and watch tv and watch the pounds melt off.
These options aren't healthy, they aren't productive. All they do is take your money and leave you without proper nutrition.
There's 1 way to get healthy and stay that way. Exercise and eat the right amounts and types of foods. That's it. No special miracle cure, no pill, no bull****. It takes effort, focus and discipline and it's hard.
You won't realize how much you don't miss soda, cigarettes, alcohol, fast food, white bread, refined sugar, or any other unhealthy thing until it's not part of your diet anymore. These things aren't good for you. They damage your body.
You will be amazed at how much better you look and feel when you get up, exercise, and put good healthy food in you. It's amazing.

I need to go prepare dinner.

Snowfire,
I agree with everything above. I would add that you may want to get your blood sugar checked just to be sure. If you have a friend who is diabetic ask him/her if you can use their testing meter and they will show you how. If you don't know anyone with a meter, just ask to have it check the next time you see your doctor. I agree that it is likely your metabolism running high in your youth, but poorly regulated insulin secretion can also make weight gain difficult, plus your lifestyle puts you in significant risk for developing type II diabetes mellitus.

When you get fed crap from fast food and take out daily, anything made well at home looks good.

This is a little off the topic, but I've found the blender to end all blenders. Starbucks and Jamba Juice use this badboy and boy is it's marketing SWEET. Check out marbles turned into dust by a blender. Not impressive enough? How about a rake?
