Did I just hear someone whisper "I want it cheap"? You wan't cheap huh? Then I just might be your man! :devious:

Okay, so how I wrapped my cables is like this. For your "ribbon cables", take them out, lay them very flat and straight, then take a butter knife and cut inbetween the wires. I cut every other three or so, that worked just fine for me. Okay, after you have cut your cables, it should look kind of like spaghetti! Now take the cables in either your right or left hand, raise them high above your head, and start chanting the words to "the wheels on the bus" while standing in a bucket of ice cold water... JUST KIDDING! :D

Get some electrical tape and wrap your spaghetti ribbon wires as tightly as possible. This is the cheapest way to create "rounded" and/or "sleeved" cables.

For your PSU cables, well the same thing applys, except you don't need to cut anything. Just start wrapping them as you like!

If you want to be uber cheap, then use your brain. Cutting the wires anyone can do unless they didnt have a tool to do so. If you don't have electrical tape, use something else to "bind" the wires together. Like, bread bag twist thingies.

Cable ties aren't expensive and work wonders in the area of making organized bundles.

For the molex plugs, i found that a pen tube fits over the pins and lets you remove the plug rather easy.

No offense taken. It does look pretty bad, but it does help to increase air flow. I mainly like it because it adds color. ^^

I say go with the dental floss, that sounds like a nice conversation starter at your next lan party! lol

Ebay, duh, why didn't I think about that? ...oh wait now I remember. I didn't want to actually spend cash on a worthless DELL power supply. lol

Also, you can go to like Home Depot or whatever your local hardware store is, and buy some split loom. I got 10 ft. for $2.

I agree. However, if your not looking in your case who cares what it looks like.

I used those ties that come with new electronics; the one used to tie up RCA cables and power cables and S-Video cables; like bread ties except they are longer. Worked well, doesnt look THAT bad, and I just had them lying around.

I found that the easiest way to braid your cables is to make a small paper cone and push it over the tip of the connector on the wires you want to braid. With this done you can then slide the braiding over easily!:santa:
