See this car? My dad and I used to own it. It was stolen on august 27, 2005 in Pleasent Hills, Pennsylvania.
The investigation assumed that the car was shipped overseas after being stolen. I got a call today saying that it was seen in Pleasent Hills. It never left. If that's the case, the Corvette is gone, and we're getting our Roush back.

When it was stolen, I was more depressed than pissed off. I'd drive by a group of 20 guys, and every-single head in that crowd would turn as the car drove by. It was such an attention grabber. I miss it. Even though the Corvette is faster, this Roush has much more sedimental value. That Roush is what I learned how to drive stick shift in. It's the first car I did powerslides in. It's the fist car I ever drag raced. It means so much.

I have always liked the mustangs and never knew how much until I bought a 2002 GT last year. Before that I was always a Chevy person, only because that is what I grew up with.
I love the Roush packages and hope you get her back!
On a side note, I always thought that a car security package should include a small package of C4 under the drivers seat. You car gets stolen, press the secret code on the remote and somewhere in the distance you hear a small "thump". You may not get a drivable car back, but you can be sure that that person will never steal another car.
Here's hoping that you will get some more track time in that baby!

I'm surprised you didn't get a lo-jack system installed on it? (Well duh, Jeremy, probably because they raced in it....) I had an SVT Contour that I souped up (turbo, CAI, 3.0L displacement upgrade from 2.5, etc etc etc) spent like 10K on it from when I was 15 when I got it up until I decided not to invest another cent in it when I was 18.. After that car I swore I would never get another ford again as long as I lived.. That Roush is still a beautiful car. I hope you nail the ****er that stole it.

There's a long story about that. I'll tell you guys when I get outta work. I got a lot to do.
Sweeet. I hope you get your baby back. You were lucky to learn stick on such a sweet car. I learned on my friend 1991 Honda Accord with 230,000 miles...and the original clutch. I died about a 2 months ago when the timing belt wore out and oil got in the engine.

But... Oil is supposed to be in the engine! (I think you mean combustion chamber, heh).
I learned to drive a stick on a 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle on it's second clutch, the chassis and motor (which was stock) both had upwards of 400k miles, but the clutch only had 100k or so on it. Lets put it this way: I learned what burnt clutch smelled like.
The second manaul I've driven was also a 1974, but it's a Porsche 914. It's my step-dad's project car, and a beater. It's pretty responsive, despite it's age and power output (about 105hp, half of stock, on stock engine, somewhere like 200k miles or so).
