...and you're all gonna think its pointless, but i gotta do this. ^_^

I have some busted toy goggles, they look like bug eyes. The lens rotate in a circular fashion. They were my roomies, and I found them on top of the fridge after having not seen them for a month. My roomies 4 year old broke the ear bits off of them, but they were likely a happy meal toy.

Regardless of quality, I intend to put an elastic strap through them, and wear them to a rave or something, but that is not enough. Seeing as how the goggles have a lens that can rotate, I want to put motors on them. ^_^ If anything, its for the challenge, as much as the effect, if not more so.

I need help locating very small motors that will work within reasonable voltages, 1.5v-9v. I saw some tiny ones that were used in cameras to advance the film. I'm thinking if I mount the motor(s) perpendicular to the lens, and get a gear that can grip onto the ridges of the lens, it would rotate the lens at a desirable speed.

If the motors I manage to find are as small as I hope, mounting them on the goggles, inside a discrete plastic enclosure should be difficult in a sense, but do able.

I only post this idea because I want to somehow include a part of this inside a case I'm working on, but I can't tell you more or they'll off me in a second. ;) And I want to wear them at least once.

When I can get that blasted camera maybe I'll sound less crazy. ^_^

Although I'd love to see the outcome!

Have you ever seen some of the stuff people wear to a rave? I'm trying to one up them in a sense, no simple task, lol.
