My Zalman 2 water cooling kit I got like 2 months ago was my Christmas present.
But on Christmas I got:
WinFast DTV200H TV PVR card
T-Shirt
Polo Shirt
Cash
My parents got confused with the list I gave them..even though I gave them the links to what I wanted on newegg :p. But it worked out. They just gave me $100 and I drove down to the Tigerdirect outlet store :D. Thats was fun, nothing like a 50 mile drive to get you ready for buying computer parts. I got a Sony DVD+-RW drive, a Lite-On DVD+-RW DL w/lightscribe drive, 5 network cables, and a Deluxe Screw and Accessory Kit. (Ok, so maybe I spent some of my own money there too). But Santa is coming tonight so I'm sure I'll get some stuff from him (I love having a little sister...*evil laughter*).
Oh and I finally got off my lazy butt to install my 250 Gig HDD thats been sitting in my closet for the past year. My total HDD space is now approx 500 Gigs unformated, meaning probably around 440 gigs formated.

Oh and you can count the new 4G computer i'm getting into that as well. It's meant to be a late christmas present due to the mobo release date =]

Thats was fun, nothing like a 50 mile drive to get you ready for buying computer parts.
Lol...i just need to trip over to get to a computer Store in Glasgow. Everything is allready here. We drive to get away from stuff.
My Family sucks at getting Geek stuff. My brother got me Dark Messiah, which i've been dying for, and my Girlfriend got me a Wii, but apart from that just clothes and boring stuff. Then again, my dad embraces Technology a bit more and i haven't seen him yet today, so who knows? The night is young. Managed to amass about £200 so far from relatives which I'm putting towards a 30" dell monitor. I'm 1/4 of the way there now, at about half way, I'll be willing to put the remaining £400 on my overdraft and pay it back in the run up to summer, where I'll do a placement and earn enough money to buy a laptop as well as pay this off and have nearly £1000 left over. Hopefully... ;)
Merry Christmas folks, glad to hear you all got some tools-so put them to good use! Next tool i need to get is a router, I'm sick of cutting metal with a Dremel. Want to use a router and a metal cutting piece to cut out some intricate shapes. :)

EP VI DVD with novel
wire strippers/crimpers
non-geek related

Garth Brooks DVD box set (go ahead and laugh)

We also had a house full of family with enough food to feed the neighborhood. My wife got the biggest/best surprize present. Her brother came up from North Carolina on Christmas Eve. Everyone except us knew about it. He wasn't sure if he could make it until Wednesday because he was just re-assigned as store manager at a Lone Star steak house. Overall, a very good Christmas.

Someone actually agrees with me!? Yeah, it's the one from Walmart. Really looking forward to getting around to watching it. We got to see him live in 98 in Philly. Awesome show! The bro manages a Lonestar in NC. Unfortunately, we are in Ohio. I'm sure if we ever get to visit we'll get a treat though.

I remember ripping a friend's CD collection... so I could add to my mp3 collection.
I was rippin anything and everything.
Michael Jackson.
Snoopy Brown (The Broadway Musical or something)
preppy bands,
etc.
etc.
But when I got to Garth Brooks, I had to put my digital foot down.
I will not invest my 0s and 1s in Garth Brooks.
HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!
Just kiddin' man (well, true story).
Whatever floats your boat! :)
That's the cool thing about music... it's special to each person! :)
Merry xMas!
Hellz yeah. I saw him live when he came through Chicago back in...probably around 97 or 96 I think, cause it was before I moved. I was about 8 or 9, lol, it was the place I first learned how to light a lighter :p.
Minty, Badonkadonk was friggen hilarious. Personally I'm a huge Big and Rich fan, I drove 150 miles last year to see them in Lansing, Michigan. Tim McGraw is great, I think my all time favorite song is "Where the green grass grows", with a close second of Brook's "Friends in low places"
I got a car accident with an idiot who doesn't have insurance and downsized without being able to find another job this year if that makes you feel better.
06 sucked.

06 sucked.
Yeah, probably the worst year of my life too. Got forced out a job, went into debt for the first time, got really, really sick beyond anything i'm willing to talk about...the best thing of this year was getting so involved in this community, there has been times when i needed this to keep me going. :)
Thanks guys! :)
Here's to 2007. Bring it on fate, i can take what ya' got.

well heres an update on my gift situation. turns out i didnt get a lot more money... only $70 plus a $25 gift certificate im going to use to get some biking gloves.
one thing i forgot from the other day is a job opportunity. not that i need a job right now... im full time school. i went to get a haircut on saturday, and i went along for the first time to the place my mom gets her hair done. it came up in conversation that im doing geology, and it turns out that the hairdresser knows a guy who does exploratory stuff looking for uranium in mexico and argentina. apparently they're always looking for helpers, so the hairdresser is going to pass my name and number along, and maybe ill be off to a different country some time next year providing i dont have a lot of courses to take.
the best thing though is the possibility of a major car upgrade. the 2005 corvette we have was an anniversary/birthday gift for my mom. for christmas my dad gave her the option of sill plates, interior mats, and a performance exhaust package, or a complete upgrade to a 2006 corvette Z06. we didnt think she'd be interested in the Z06, but it looks like thats the most appealing thing now. we were just talking about how we'd bring one up from the states... theres none up here in BC... only thing we have to do is put in daytime running lights to make it street legal here. so ya... theres a possibility that a Z06 could be showing up here in the not too distant future.
