So, Mr. :santa: came by my house, and gave me this cool present:::

A pretty nifty temperature gun measurement thingy!

Here's another shot

So, we're testing it out with a Medalla. This is, an excellent beer brewed here in Puerto Rico. Here's their official site (http://www.medallalight.com/). (( I, personally, find the site somewhat annoying. ))
Here's the wikiPedia entry for Medalla Light beer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medalla).
And, last, here's another interesting experiment (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=5635) regarding Medalla Beer.
Very cool people, and super interesting things they're doing over there.
Be sure to say hi!

We start out our experiment evaluating the temperature of a "room temperature" Medalla beer over here in Puerto Rico.
This comes out at 84.1 degrees Farenheit (28.9 Celsius).

So, we start the countdown, and burry the Medalla into a pile of ice and more Medallas.

Here are some initial readings...
First, registering around 31.3 degrees (Farenheit) (-0.4 Celsius).

And, here's another one registering 28.8 degrees Farenheit (-1.78 Celsius).

We'll check the temperatures in a little while... and post back results. :D
I'm thinking of adding some LEDs to the temperature gun.
It does have a nifty red laser pointer that's really usefull... hmmm....

Over and out, Merry xMas to everybody!!!! :D :santa:

Nice, now you can measurement the temp of your beer at a distance !

Enjoy !

Haha. I can think of so many geeky/lazy uses for that.

"I want to know the tepmerature of my CPU heatsink without opening an app... FIRE TEMPERATURE LAZORZ!"

lol, I was watching Dirty Jobs, and they were using one of those to find a bees nest in a wall. The un-inhabited wall's temp was about 64 degrees, and the bees nest was about 72-74 degrees. Pretty nifty really.

Out of pure curiousity, what are you going to do with this except finding the temperature of beer? ^^
