I'm still having problems with getting Battlefield 2 to stop shutting off my computer, and am maybe I don't have the latest updates for my drivers. I looked on the nvidia website but I don't know which one to download and I don't want to download the wrong thing, so can someone please link me to where I can download the latest drivers for a nvidia 7600 GS 512mb?

i believe the unified graphics drivers from nvidia should work with that card, you can look on their site to be sure

Theres basically one driver for all of the cards, at least in eVGA its like that. Except the 8800 which need a separate driver.

I had a hell of a time getting BF2 to play after I setup ATI Crossfire, but I found lots of very useful tips and ultimately the solution to the problem here (http://www.secretsofbattlefield.com/ ). If the new drivers don't help, take a read through their tweaks section and you may find the problem. BTW, after using the tweaks they suggest and getting both ATI 1900's running BF2 is so much nicer!

what is your screen resolution set to? Something you may want to try is right click the regular battlefield2 shortcut, click properties and edit the target line to read:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Insert your screen resolution after the +szx_____ +szy______

If that doesn't work, undo it and search www.EA.com in the support section limiting your search criteria to your hardware and there may be a known issue with an easy fix. Do other games work?

Yea, I play Counter-Strike Source, Day of Defeat Source, and Half-Life 2 completely maxed settings with no problems at all.

And by the way, changing the target didn't work. But I did contact EA with my question so hopefully they can help me. Thanks for the help.
