Simple Mod Question

I want to paint the interior of my case (you know, the boring soft gray metal)
to match the exterior. My question is, will this effect anything?
I'm mostly concerned with the motherboard, seeing how it has almost a bare connectin to this metal.

Assuming that you mean you are going to paint it with all components removed, no, it should'nt hurt anything.

Just make sure the paint dries! (For gloss painting this can be several weeks.)
