New logos for my site

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you'd take a look at all these different crazy designs for a logo for my new paintball store. Just use the votey-do above and let me know your favorite.

That's not to say it need be the final version, it has grown from your initial draft to this. But it could be further refined until you are absolutely satisfied with what you have. But do you see what I mean about the guy and the title being side by side in the above, and look how he has dragged the text over the body so they are connected and it almost looks like the shooter is jumping out from behind to take a shot.

But the end product wasn't any one of our ideas alone, it culminated from teamwork....ha! I couldn't help it, total Sesame Street Moment. I need to get some sleep!

I just got photoshop, so soon my worries will be over image editing-wise.

9 again. But I suggest you choose at least 2 of them. One for your main things; website, t-shirts... But keep one in reserve for your cards, papers... we never know. ;)

Btw, did you ever figure out your design idea you had? or did it turn out to be more trouble than its worth?

It turned out to be a whole lot of trouble, plausible, but it'd end up being huge.

However, I just bought a new hopper (Odyssey Halo B w/ Victory Board), and when it arrives, I'll look at the design and then try and build my own. If that works, then I will look at measures to make it faster.

You said your using fireworks. I'm a Corel guy myself (Corel Draw, Corel Photo Paint). If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask. I don't mind doing stuff like that if I have the time.

In my opinion, it a lil bit overloaded, and I'd say this is more of a banner than a logo. Logos have to be short, and straight to the point :)
Maybe try to do something with the gun itself.

Maybe instead of having the title Power Packed Paintball so large, you could work in something like P^3 (P cubed) as the logo with the shooter combined somehow. Unless that is being used by some trademark already.

The p^3 thing is a great idea for a logo. I know what you guys are saying though - these images are terrible for a "logo" per se, but for a banenr I think they'd be cool on the site. An actual logo would have to be much more simplistic.
