I was making holes with my dremel, when the Dremel made a weird sound... then stopped working... :dead: Bouh... I think I'll be wearing black for the next few days...

Not to rain on your newly gotten dremmel parade but... Did you check the brushes on your psudo dead dremmel?

Aslong as you didnt get that sucker wet, it should live for a good 30 years before the simple motor parts start to wear enough to cause problems.

I had a dremmel look-a-like from the mid 60's, it worked flawlessly. I ended up trading it to a buddy, big mistake on my part...

Is it Dremel brand? Contact the manufaturer, they should replace it...

You need more power! Why waste your time with a cissy Dremel when you can get a Compression-Powered Impact Drill?

Trust me, you won't be ever be in the situation where the metal slows down the blade again! :D :D :D

Ahaha roger that! When your blade stops, that's the worst. I hate the low torque on the Dremel.

Thx for the tip. I openned it, and there was actually a problem with them. Unfortunatly, it caused the motor to exploded in my hand (no hurt) Too bad... +1rep for the tip :)

I have this one for a couple of years now. And no, it<s not a DREMEL branded. But it worked well till now.
