Wow! I suppose those copper pipes running outside the case will be part of a watercooling setup?

i'll take Wow! as you like it, thanx. yeah the pipes are apart of the cooling system, its really going to be a different take on 2 ways of cooling combined. those pipes are going to the cpu and sandwiched between a custom block sitting on top of the cpu. my theory is that the copper block will transfer the heat to the pipes. the pipes will draw the heat away to the outside. to augment the cooling i am going to run water through them using a pump, and reservior, etc. i am hoping that it will cool even when the water is not circulating. I call it P.A.C. (Passive. Active. Cooling.)

Hehe, I clicked on this because it has the same name as one of my possible mods. Looks cool, and thankfully it's not the same monolith I'm thinking of. Good luck on it, I'll stay tuned.

I remember the concept sketches of this posted a couple of months ago. Good to see you have got the mod under way.

Nice design, clean lines, pretty straight forward and I like that. Do you plan on using the tubes as handles in the event you move the case? Interested to see how this one turns out.

I reccomend that you make the pipes robust enought that they can be used as handles.
EDIT: Don't know budget but for that little "tray thing" over the optical drive, you could make it a small LCD screen. Than you push on the LCD and a drive emerges.

my dad thought they were handles too. i wasn't planning on it, but since thinks so, i'll see what i can do. it might tricky though, consider the pipes are going to the cpu!!!
Mod on!

do you mean that big square hole up top? if so i was planning on putting a lcd screen up there. and as for pushing on the lcd so a drive emerges, sounds cool. i really don't know how it would be done, what did you have in mind on achieving that? do you mean a touch screen using some sort of special software?
i would very much like to incorporate that into the design.
