Australia is really nice, was there for 3 weeks about 5 years ago, people are really friendly.

I see that you live in New Bern which is a settlement created by Swiss settlers, I actually live in Bern, Switzerland. Do you actually have Swiss roots?

Oh, I was in Circular Quay in Sydney (mariott) and it was great. Heading back to melbourne after a side trip right now (no internet :( ). Ill be back in the states Jan. 1.

progbuddy, was it very smoky when you visited? there have been a lot of fires around Melbourne recently and smoke's just been going everywhere! The city was covered in smoke, couldn't see further then a kilometer or so away...

Anyway now it's all cleared up but the heat is just driving everyone nuts. Today it got to about 43C i think...

Hope you liked the outback and beautiful country here! The people ARE very friendly lolz =D

P.S. You can't truly say you've met Australians until someone calls you a mate or says G'day to you. Did that happen to you while you were over?

If you think Qantas is good then US air must really suck. Because some Qantas flights are crap. Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines are the best.
