ok heres teh problem. i do not want to start engraving. ( i can do it however if i can do it without, then it would be better. i want to add text to the side of my case and a large aquilla. i kinda have tried painting and failed so was thinking is there like stickers or somthing like that orany other way to do it. if painting is the only real decent idea can i get a VERY good step by step? for adding text and also getting a mirror finnish?

You can get sticker paper for your printer, and try looking in your phone book for a sign/printer shop, they may be able to print it onto acrylic stickers for you, which are higher quality.

I used a sticker-paper for my 'decal' on my case. just printed the image, cut it out (a lot of work) and then stuck it to my window.
One problem with ordinairy sticker-paper is that it is white. Though you can print any color on it the sides (where you have cut the paper) will remain white. I overcame this problem by using a whiteboard marker and make everything black.

So: Can you use sticker-paper for a decal?
Yes you can, but it's not the best. You probably want to have a real vinyl decal... like daveW just said...
