Hello guys. I just recently recieved an xbox 360 but i know i wont be able to afford an HDTV anytime soon (and even if i could im going to college soon and wont have room for one in the dorm lol), so i was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the vga cables and hook my 360 up to a computer monitor. At the moment i have a spare CRT but i am planning in to future to buy myself a nice LCD.

Will the increase in resolution be noticible? Will this be worth the effort? It would be nice to have something better than the standard def tv in my room.

Thanks for the advice guys.

This isn't the right forum subsection for this kind of question and we already have another thread for this.

Oh sorry about that. Me FTL :dead:

Again, i apologise, ill close this thread.

Edit: Actually that wasnt what i was asking. Im not really looking to mod anything here. I was planning on purchasing the cabes that are made for the 360 that output to vga ive seen them online somewere.

I was just asking if i would get a better picture on a computer monitor that i would on a standard television.

I was just planning on using these http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/

Oh well... since this is in the wrong section i guess ill just close it.
