Alright, I've had it. The angle I sit at for my computer is signifigantly lower than my moniter and it makes it dimmer (It's a LCD).
I wanna know, are there any free gamma manipulating proggies? I can't find anything in the Catalyst control center (ATi for life!) or windows settings.

I thought monitors came on swivel bases...
Your monitor settings should have gamma correction. If not, get the omega drivers, they have a gamma correction setting.

They do have swivel bases. My monitor can be from horozontal to about 20 degrees back. But I'm below it. It's pointing over my head.

You can give yourself a Repetitive Strain Injury looking at it like that. I'd try to find somewhere else to move it to.
The rule of thumb for monitor placement is: you have your eyes level with the top of the screen, then tilt it back till the center of the screen is perpendicular to your eyes. So you're always looking slightly downwards.
This also gives you more immersion when playing black and white, as you get a god complex. ;)
