Just another reason why I despise best buy I guess. *the first reason was for charging me, a noob back then, $130USD for an ATI X300SE. The price for a ATI X300SE? $30-$40USD. >< at least it played oblivion.
yeah...i really dislike best buy..but im given gift cards to there all the time...so ill use em

That is the only time I use them too. Even though I can't ever get anything I want because everything cost so dang much.
I love how he asked her to donate the gift card to the salvation army and "they can't do that either". My friend works at Best Buy, and even he thinks they suck most the time:P.
I don't use box stores for electronics if possible. They're overpriced, have few knowledgeable sales reps, and overcharge on simple things. No thanks, I'll use newegg and tomshardware.

I only get stuff from best buy because my dad has an employee account/discount so I can get stuff for decent prices!
=D

The worst thing about Best Buy--they ask you if you need help every 5 minutes--when you don't need help. When you DO, they're never around. Also, when you ask a question, and actually lay down computer or gaming jargon, they have no idea...
Why ask me if I need help, if you can't answer me?

That's why, when they ask me if I need help, my fav answer is: Nop, but do you need help? :)
Let's face it: we probably know alot more in the computer department then the masses. Secondly, I have a degree as a video technician, as an audio technician (I really hated it...) and in electronic (also hated it) So, exept if I need something locked, I dont need them...

Nice--I like your answer...I try to avoid Best Buy and PC retailers--Best Buy has know clue, and both are overpriced--well, not all PC retailers, but the ones around me are.......Yeah, Newegg!
Another thing about Best Buy--they don't even carry Nvidia 7950s!!! and the 8800s have come out now. Their selection is horrible....
